Social Pedagogues Visit the National Assembly

Several days ago, around 39 students of the Faculty of Education Psychology and Sociology visited the National Assembly within the framework of courses on “Social Pedagogy” and

 “Socio-Pedagogical Activities in the Sphere of Education”.
 
During the visit the students meet with the President of the Standing Committee for NA Sciences, Education, Culture, Youth and Sports Mr. Artak Davtyan.
 
The latter introduced the students with the Parliament activities, structure, the nature of the work of standing committees.
 
During the meeting active discussions started; the future social pedagogues were interested in the issues concerning inclusive education and development of the Social Pedagogues institution in the education sector in Armenia, as well as the peculiarities of the Armenian labour market, and numerous other matters regarding the International School of Dilijan.
 
 

We would like to mention that the students’ visit to the NA was arranged by the lecturer of the Department of Professional Education and Applied Pedagogy, Candidate of Pedagogy Volodya Gasparyan and the Deputy Dean for Science and Post-Graduate Education of the Faculty of Education Psychology and Sociology, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Hakob Tadevosyan.    
 
 
The latter in his turn mentioned during his interview to the old.aspu.am that as a result of the demonstration lesson the students received answers to a number of questions relating to their professional sphere and education sector, their legal support system from the President of the corresponding Standing Committee of the legislative body himself.
