KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

 

A modern hall with unique technical capabilities opened at the 3rd building of Armenian State Pedagogical University on March 7. The opening ceremony was attended by Tigran Sargsyan, Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia and Chairman of the ASPU Board.

 

The Prime Minister stressed the importance of the hall which is equipped with the latest innovations and congratulated the female attendees on March 8 - International Women's Day.

Wishing women joy, happiness and beauty, Tigran Sargsyan said they [women] provide a fresh stimulus and help them overcome the difficulties in the country. “With your beauty and love confessions you always help us move forward and show a more philosophical approach to everyday difficulties,” he said. 

 

 

ASPU Rector Ruben Mirzakhanyan also greeted and congratulated the attendees. 

 

“A month of love and beauty starts in Armenia. We have a good tradition of giving presents on holidays. This renovated hall of the Pedagogical University is a gift to everyone, including former and current staff members, graduates and future students. What you see here is only part of complex engineering work,” the Rector said adding that the spacious and light hall which has modern technological and acoustic devices and a portable stage would host conferences and youth events. 

 

 

The popular Armenian rock band Dorians congratulated the attendees with beautiful performances. The hall that can seat 600-700 people was mostly packed with students, who were signing with Gor Sujyan, the soloist of the rock band. 

 

 

The rock concert was a perfect gift for the University’s employees and students who greatly enjoyed the superb performance of the popular band.
