MA students receive diplomas

“You have chosen a profession that is important in the life of each and every woman,” Srbouhi Gevorgyan, ASPU Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, said on March 10 at a diploma

 awarding ceremony during which 72 MA students of the University enrolled in full-time and distance learning courses of the Faculty of Primary Education received diplomas. 
 
 
Srbouhi Gevorgyan also congratulated the women on Women’s Month wishing them attention, love and warmth throughout the year. Let us mention that all graduates of the Faculty were female representatives. 
 
 
“Psychological knowledge and skills and the mission of an educator will allow you to achieve harmony in your activities,” the Vice-Rector said adding that the teaching staff of the University is always ready to help and support their graduates, both in personal and professional growth.
 
 
Tigran Ayvazyan, ASPU Vice-Rector for Education Quality and Distance Learning Education, also congratulated the graduates and wished that they never regret choosing teaching as a career path. “Be proud to be graduates of Armenian State Pedagogical University: your professional achievements are our achievements,” he said. 
 
 
The graduates were also congratulated by Heads of Departments, Svetlana Marutyan and Ashot Galstyan, and Dean Heghine Khachatryan. 
 

“Young people have the right to continue their studies. Students completing Master's degree programmes receive basic education and major in different specialties combined with interest in teaching profession, once again emphasizing its importance,” said Heghine Khachatryan. She reminded that gods and children live in places where they are loved and advised the graduates to create an enjoyable environment for their students. 
 
 
Festive mood was also felt in the Faculty of History and Jurisprudence where 32 MA graduates were awarded diplomas. They were the first MA students of the Faculty to complete a distance learning course.
 
 
They were congratulated by Vice-Rectors Srbouhi Gevorgyan and Tigran Ayvazyan Edik Gevorgyan, Dean of the Faculty, and Ashot Khachatryan, a member of the Constitutional Court of Armenia, who chaired the qualifying examination commission. 
 
 
“I was honoured to monitor the examination process and I must say that there are many knowledgeable students studying at this University. I deliver lectures in several universities but I have noticed that students at the Pedagogical University apply their knowledge in the best possible way,” said Ashot Khahatryan.
