11.03.2014

“Touring around the Pedagogical University is a great pleasure and excitement… . I will tell all my friends about the Museum… ”, the pupils of 4-8 grades from the secondary School N1 after Shahoumyan were unanimously stating; they visited the University under the initiative of the Lecturer from the Department of  Conducting of the Faculty of Art Education, Methodist Sousanna Petrosyan.

During the visit the pupils made a tour at the University’s Museum, where they got familiar with the history of the University, its activities from the day of foundation. Besides, like strict and demanding visitors, the pupils were enquiring about each exhibit starting from souvenirs to busts, but they were more than surprised and amused with the rooms describing about the famous graduates of the University.

What is more, during her speech with the old.aspu.am, the Methodist Sousanna Petrosyan assured that the second –third year students spending their internships in that very school created a huge interest among the pupils towards the University.
“The aim of the visit is to establish strong connection between the University and school at the same time contributing to

 their professional orientation.”

The fourth year student Vigen Hakobyan has already decided to become a painter; and this visit to the University has forced him to think about obtaining that profession at the Pedagogical.
“The 3D picture of Khachatur Abovyan is the most impressive one which I will surely discuss with my family and friends”, Vigen mentioned and noted down his impressions from the visit in the Museum register.

In addition, the 6th grade pupil Ashot Bareghamyan was most impressed learning about the renowned graduates of the University. Struck with what he observed and heard, Ashot assured the following, “I will be studying at the Pedagogical and will become a musician; I want the University to become more famous.”

To conclude, by the end of the visit an exciting surprise was prepared for the students- a concert of the qanun, guitar, violin and the band performance summarized the guests’ one-day visit at the Pedagogical .
