children with heavy articulation (speech) disorders. Simultaneously, the educational complex hosted pupils of High School N16, accompanied by Zhenya Vardanyan, a graduate of the ASPU [Division of Geography], who is currently taking a Master’s degree course in the Faculty of History and Jurisprudence, and Arpine Hambaryan, Deputy Principal of the School.
The pupils and students talked to the children of the educational complex. Then Gayane Vardanyan, a skillful teacher with many years of experience, answered the visitors’ questions referring to children with speech, listening and hearing impairments.
“Future educators were once again convinced that every child needs special care and attention of a teacher, psychologist, speech therapist and parent,” Vardouhi Hovhannisyan said in conversation with old.aspu.am. She added that the visits help students apply their theoretical knowledge about inclusive education in practice.
