Translations, getting familiar with new computer software, as well as working at the virtual library - this is how the students of the Pedagogical University Faculty of Education Management Ms. Astghik Petrosyan and Ms. Elvina Margaryan are passing their voluntary internship at the UN Office.
The international Cooperation Department and the University –Employer Cooperation Centre, within the framework of collaboration with the UNDPI, announced a volunteering competition at the UN Office.
According to the participants, the annual competition held at the Pedagogical University contributes not only to the improvement of foreign language proficiency but also to the development of organizational skills.
In near future, the student will arrange awareness building seminar presenting the knowledge, experience they acquired during the three-month internship and the UN activities.
In fact, the students’ selection was based on their CV, the motivation letter and the interview results; the students received support in this matter from the International Cooperation Department and the University-Employer Cooperation Centre.
