The Best Literary Artists are Announced

The annual intercollegiate literary creative festival was held on the initiative of the Student Scientific Society and the “Wednesday” literary club at the Pedagogical University.
 
 
Among the participants at the festival were the postgraduate students from the ASPU, YSU, the RA NSA, the Medical University after Mkhitar Heratsy, the RA MD Military Aviation Institute after Marshal Armenak Khanperyantsi, the RA Police Academy, Armenian-Russian (Slavonic) University, Linguistic University after Valeri Brusov, the State University of Artsakh, and the Yerevan Branch of the New Law University of Moscow, together with the students of the “Eurasia” College.

 
Among the jury members were renowned literary critics, artists, journalists, public-state figures such as Tigran Petrosyants, the ASPU Vice-Rector Srbouhi Gevorgyan, Aelita Doloukhanyan, Arthour Deacon Aramyan, Arminei Hayrapetyan, Arevshat Avagyan, Vrezh Saroukhanyan, Julietta Martirosyan, Diana Markosyan, the President of the SC Nersik Margaryan, the SSS President Mariam Melqumyan, the SC Vice Presidents Armenouhi Soumroulyan, and Arpinei Khachatryan. The jury was presided over by the member of the RA ARP Faction, the President of the NA External Relations Committee Artak Zaqaryan. 
 
 
At the end of the festival the jury summarized the results; thus the winner in the nomination “Best Prose” was the student of the Medical University after Mkhitar Heratsy Ms. Ofelya Meliqyan, the “Best Verse” winner was the YST student Varsinei Hayrapetyan, and the winner of the “Best Poetry” was the student of the Pedagogical University Faculty of Special Education Ms. Shushanik Hayrapetyan.
 
 
The winners and the participants of the festival were congratulated by the president of the jury Artak Zaqaryan, who thanked them for the chance to enjoy the newly created literary works.
 
“The poems that are not widely known and have not seen much audience yet already received stormy applause which means there are the followers of the famous writers among you”. 
 
 
 
One of the participants, Ms. Varsine Hayrapetyan born in Artsakh, presented her authored verse “Artsakh” at the Festival. She was excited and embarrassed with the unexpected victory; she had participated in numerous similar contests, but it was the first time she won the first prize. 
“I am getting inspired with the weather, different feelings, but most of all with love,” the future  doctor, also the Best Verse Author  Ofelya Meliqyan mentioned frankly adding that she did not expect that the jury and the audience would feel and understand her.
 
 
 
In addition, the fourth year student of the Faculty of Special Education of the Pedagogical University Shushanik Hayrapetyan mentioned that her victory was the result of hard work of three years; the future psychologist had been participating in the festival for the third time.
 
 
Besides, she was more than excited with the upcoming publication of the collection of works of the members of the “Wednesday” literary club that was going to comprise her poems too.

 
 
And last but not least, all participants received books, and the winners also pictures.
