Exhibition dedicated to Motherhood and Beauty Day

“He is one of the best students of our University. At first he was a gifted student, now he is a professional artist. Despite his active public life, he thinks about the future every second – something characteristic of a real artist.

One can only admire Nairi’s desire to manage everything in time,” Lems Nersisyan, Professor at the Chair of Fine Arts, said during the opening of an individual exhibition of Nairi Balabekyan, a MA student of the Faculty of Art Education. 
 
The professor hailed Nairi’s works and assured the attendees that the showcased pieces of art were complete and could be displayed at bigger exhibitions. 
 
The exhibition was also attended by Dean of the Faculty of Art Education Sargis Elbakyan, Nairi’s teacher Samvel Karapetyan, Head of the ASPU Scientific Library Tigran Petrosyants,
 
Principal of N57 School after Vahan Totovents, Susanna Khachatryan, lecturers and students who came to congratulate the young artist.  It is due to mention that Nairi works at N57 School as a teacher of drawing and heads the drawing group of the school. 
 
“A model student, an outstanding person and a wonderful teacher,” Sargis Elbakyan characterized Nairi Balabekyan with the following words. The dean congratulated all presentees on the occasion of the exhibition, saying Nairi’s success was everyone’s success.  
 
Nairi’s teacher Samvel Karapetyan advised his pupil not to stop and be sufficed with whatever he has gained, but to go forward and create new things. He also urged future artists to follow suit as similar exhibitions teach artists to work diligently. 

 
This was Nairi Balabekyan’s first exhibition at his Alma Mater which was opened on the occasion of Motherhood and Beauty Day in Armenia and exhibited the best works created by the artist in the past five years. 
 
“I have distinguished and experienced teachers and it was a great honour for me to apprentice to them,” Nairi Balabekyan said, expressing his gratitude to the lecturers of the Faculty of Art Education.
 
Chairman of the ASPU Student Council Nersik Margaryan also congratulated his friend on the event. At the initiative of the Student Council, all female representatives present in the opening ceremony received flowers and congratulation cards.
