“We cannot do great things, but we can do small things with great love”

A few days ago, an article was published on the Internet telling about the 16-year old Davit who was suffering from acute articular pain, who could hardly walk, was confined to the wheelchair, didn’t go to school, and lagged behind his peers.

As soon as the students of the Pedagogical University’s (High-School College) read the article, they arranged a fundraising just a few hours later and paid a visit to Davit accompanied by the Director of the College Ms. Naira Safaryan.

In addition to monetary support, another pleasant surprise was prepared for Davit; the 10th grade students of the Cultural /drawing/ stream of the College drew Davit’s portrait and wrote him a letter. When Davit saw the picture, a smile rose on his face followed by an active conversation.

With all the details Davit told his peers about his upcoming plans and professional orientation; in fact, he decided to become a programmer.

“Mother Teresa told, “We cannot do great things, but we can do small things with great love”; thanks to this initiative Davit realized that he was not alone, that there were caring people who heard the boy’s and his family’s concerns,” mentioned the ASPU (High-School) College students assuring that communication with Davit would continue; and when he recovered a little bit, they would invite him to their college.
