An open-air photo exhibition entitled “Armenia, my love!” opened in Oval Park in Yerevan within the framework of events celebrating the International Day for Monuments and Sites which is observed annually on April 18.

The exhibition organised by the Department of Education and Culture of Kentron Administrative District presented the photos taken by students of Armenian State Pedagogical University (Department of Camerawork, Artistic Photography and Sociocultural Activity), Institute of Architecture and Construction (Department of Design), “Aregnazan” Educational Complex and individual artists.
The aim of the exhibition was to familiarise visitors with the history and culture of Armenia and call on everyone to take care of contemporary statues and monuments, as well as the ones built by the previous generations.
Rouben Yerznkyan, Acting Head of the Department of Camerawork, Artistic Photography and Sociocultural Activity, says similar exhibitions not only promote exchange of experience among students, but are also a good opportunity for students to present their works to people.
