Exhibition dedicated to Armenian Genocide opens at ASPU Scientific Library

An exhibition entitled “The Armenian Genocide: 1915…” opened at the Scientific Library of Armenian State Pedagogical University on the eve of the 99th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.

 

More than 150 scholarly monographs, fiction books, testimonies and accounts, memoirs and newspapers published in Armenia and elsewhere in the world in the Armenian, Russian and English languages were put on display. 

 

Books are exhibited according to their theme: here one can find the books of historian StepanPoghosyan - “History of the Armenian Genocide” (1-3 volumes), “Turks about Turks” (1-4 volumes, the fourth volume is the English summary of the book), “Far and Near Neighbours”(1-3 volumes), “History of the Armenian Cause and Armenian Genocide,” “Give me a Spade” and many others. 

 

One can also find a number of Armenian and foreignlanguage books telling about the Armenian Genocide, testimonies and memories of Genocide survivors, certificates of diplomatic corps of different counties, books and articles about the services of great philanthropists and the pogroms in Sumgait, Baku and Kessab which are considered to be the continuation of the 1915 Genocide.
