The 3rd year student of the Pedagogical University Faculty of Primary Education Narinei Baghdasaryan is the author of collages made of rice which is used as an artistic material; her first experience was quite a success; the future pedagogue presented her collages picturing lilacs and sunflower on the 99th anniversary commemoration of the Genocide.
In addition, an exhibition was held at the main building hall of the Pedagogical University, organized on the initiative of the Faculty of Primary Education, on the 99th anniversary commemoration of the Genocide.
Flowers, pomegranates, portraits, folk instruments, unique collages, gobelin, constructive type of paintings made of rice- overall 22 pieces the authors of which are students from different faculties.
What is more, during the extracurricular classes the individual and group works were supervised by the Associate Professor of Pre-School Pedagogy and Methodologies Ms. Janna Khachatryan; the latter highly praised the mastery of the exhibits and happily noticed that Armenian nation passed a long and difficult way but never ceased to create and artistically represent emotions and feelings.
The specialist of painting could hardly single out any work, however, not hiding that particularly exceptional and unique are the collages and pieces made of rice.
The Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Ms. Srbouhi Gevorgyan in her turn highlighted the fact that future pedagogues are observing the issues subject to restitution with particular meaning and content.
“Such events, together with your ideas and attitude towards culture give an opportunity to newly expose the history and image of Armenian nation”.
Bright light and unique mood- this is how the Head of the Department of Preschool Pedagogy and Methodology Ms. Svetlana Maroutyan characterized the exhibited works.
She congratulated the authors and considered the exhibition a special kind of review through which the characteristic features of pedagogues were unveiled and the students’ skills and knowledge about painting was demonstrated.
