Although the Women’s Holidays are already in the past, the Students Scientific Society of the Faculty of History and Law, in joint cooperation with the Department of General

Pedagogy, arranged an event headed “For the Prominent Armenian Pedagogues and their Work” devoted to the Motherhood and Beauty celebration.
On this occasion, a group of students from the Faculty of History and Law made their reports. The subjects of the reports were diverse: “Women’s education problems in medieval Armenia”, “Tsaghkonts Kindergarten”, “Armenian Women -Scientist of the 20th century”, etc.
The core of all those reports were Armenian women who, despite the time limitations and inequality in rights, were well brought up, got proper education, and promoted active public work.
Furthermore, poems of Vahan Teryan and Hovhannes Shiraz glorifying women and the spring were also presented during the event.
Afterwards, the Head of the Department of General Pedagogy, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Laura Asatryan congratulated those present.
“ All that was told about Armenian women today was just one drop. Nevertheless, even that was enough to state the fact that Armenian women worked, still work, and will definitely work in all the spheres of public life on equal basis with the men. And what is the most important, they will also continue their vital task to continue the nation’s generation”, Laura Asatryan concluded.
It should also be marked that the Professor of the Department of General Pedagogy, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences Janna Tadevosyan assisted in the arrangement of the event, too.
The latter was happy to work with students and was quite glad with the results of the first artistic, scientific results of the joint experiment.
