A series of events are scheduled to be held at Armenian State Pedagogical University on April 30 (9.00 am – 11.30 am) within the framework of Tempus Project “Access to Society for the People with Individual Requirements” (ASPIRE).
On this Awareness Day to be held under the tagline “Education Opportunities, Problems and Challenges of Persons with Disabilities,”several competitions will be held at the University during which winners in “Best Essay” and “Best Photo” contests will receive special awards. Also, posters will be placed in all buildings of the University and booklets will be distributed in all departments and units, as well as in the vicinity of the University. The University's radio station - "Fama" – will join the awareness-raising events.
Video footages telling about educational opportunities and problems of people with disabilities will be shown on the large monitors of the University. Besides, a screening of documentaries about inclusive education will be organised at faculties which will be followed by a discussion.
