“Birthday of Starlets” at Primary School N57

Piruza Khuloyan, who is taking a Master’s course at the Faculty of Art, Armenian State Pedagogical University, also works as a music teacherat ASPU Primary School N57 after VahanTotovents. 

 

She gives music lessons to 2nd to 5th form pupils, with lessons being held once or twice a week. Today’s concert entitled “The Birthday of Starlets” was the result of these weekly meetings. 

 

The pupils performed a number of songs, including “Spring,” “Joyful Morning,” “Dream,” “Clown,” “Peaceful Skies” and many others, creating a festive atmosphere and mood in the hall. 

 

The event was attended by pupils, parents and principals of ASPU School N57 after VahanTotovents and ASPU Basic (High School) College, as well asDean of the Faculty of Art EducationSargisElbakyan and Professor at the Department of Conducting and Voice ProductionYuryYuzbashyan. The latter lauded the work done by the pupils and said, “We are glad to participate in such an event which is the first ‘babbling’ of these pupils. The event is even more exciting for the participants: their eyes are shining like the stars in the sky. The concert will remain in their memories as their first performance.” 

 

 

“There is nothing better than a birthday. The newly formed choir is a real cluster of stars,” said SargisElbakyan. He hailed the work done by PiruzaKhuloyan and expressed hope that the choir wouldbe extensively enlarged in the future and enrich itsrepertoire.
