KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

Fourteen senior maths students of the Pedagogical University, Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics of distant-learning system, supervised by the Methodist Olya Sahakyan, spent their Pedagogical Practice at the secondary school N57 after Vahan Totovents. 

The internship was concluded with an event arranged with 6th grade pupils headed “The Trial of Zero” organized by senior student Aram Khachatryan.

During the event the pupils presented historical facts about the number “zero” and the digit “zero”, as well as spoke about its practical meaning, characteristics, its role and importance.

“In this way we not only concluded the lesson, discussed its key concepts and the main features of the fulfilled activities, but also developed the pupils’ communications skills, independent creativity and speech culture”, Aram Khachatryan, the initiator of the event mentioned in his interview to the old.aspu.am .
