From 4-9 May, a study tour to the Aarhus University in Denmark was implemented within the Tempus “ARMENQA” project.

During the meeting the ASPU was represented by the Head of the Education Development and Quality Assurance Department Mkrtich Avagyan, the Head of the Internship Department Vahan Sargsyan and the Head of the International Cooperation Department Christina Tsatouryan.
Within four days the representatives of the educational institutions participating in the project got familiar with the National Qualification Scope in Denmark and the installment practice in Denmark, Sweden and Belgium.
During the meetings the representative of the Quality Assurance Agency of Denmark introduced the details of accreditation process in Denmark, and the importance of having the National Qualifications Scope in the process of accreditation.
Later on, the Armenian delegates of the project discussed the National Qualification Scope of Armenia, went through the remarks of their European colleagues, as well as presented the details of the upcoming seminar about the National Qualifications Scope due in June.
In fact the National Qualifications Scope of Armenia is the description of qualifications granted by the educational institutions in Armenia or qualification achieved in continuing education.
It gives opportunities to facilitate the mobility of the students and graduates as well as the mobility of the staff, to improve the recognition of qualifications in the labour market.
We would like to remind that the three-year national project TEMPUS ARMENQA aims at introducing the national and sectorial qualifications scope.
