KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

The brass band of the Faculty of Culture, ASPU, has been granted the honorary title of “Laureate” for reaching the finals of an annual festival called “Play, Victorious Trumpet!”

This year, the traditional festival was devoted to the 145th birth anniversary of [Armenian composer] Komitas. About 17 bands from different Armenian cities and towns participated in the event. 

The festival is organised by the Centre of Aesthetic Education and Culture for Children and Youth of Armenian Ministry of Education and Science. The brass band of Armenian State Pedagogical University at the head of Artistic Director Kolya Martirosyan performed the works of Arno Babajanyan, Konstantin Orbelian, Baghdasar Grigotryan, Robert Petrosyan and many others.
