It is about two years Armenian State Pedagogical University has been carrying out the project RECEA (Reintegration Centre Armenia) which is financed by the Return Fund of the European Commission. It was wrapped up on May 31 with a farewell meeting of the program participants.

During the meeting, the children, their parents and teachers spoke about the objectives, goals and achievements of the program.

During the implementation of the project, the Reintegration Centre rendered support and assistance to the children of Armenian immigrants, helping them to overcome educational and cultural problems they had encountered during their stay outside their homeland.

“We want you to know, recognize and love your homeland – Armenia, its historical and cultural values, integrate into society, fully master your Mother Tongue and  realize that your homeland continues to love and miss you even when you are far away from it,” said Professor Melanya Astvatsatryan, Head of the Department of Foreign Language Teaching methods, Doctor of Pedagogical Science.

The parents of the repatriated children thanked the ASPU staff for organizing language courses and providing psychological support.
