
The solemn handover of Diplomas continued at all Faculties of Armenian State Pedagogical University after the departure of Armenian President.
In the academic year 2013-2014, ASPU had 3159 graduates who studied in full-time and distance learning systems: 2284 of them earned a Bachelor’s degree and 765 - Master’s degree.

Congratulating the graduates, Srbuhi Gevorgyan, ASPU Vice-Rector for Educational and Scientific Affairs, assured everyone that they would continue acquiring new skills, abilities and knowledge, and growing both personally and professionally after graduation.
In her speech, the vice-rector told the graduates to feel free to turn to their Alma Mater if they ever encounter problems connected with professional skills and training and urged them to be proud to be graduates of Armenian State Pedagogical University.
Eighteen of the 286 BA and 25 of the 66 MA students graduating the Faculty of History and Jurisprudence received Diploma with Honours. The graduates were congratulated by the Dean of the Faculty Edik Gevorgyan and Amatuni Virabyan, Chairman of the Examination Certification Commission, Director of the Armenian National Archives.

Edik Gevorgyan joined all the wishes said on the occasion and urged the graduates to use their knowledge to help people. Students then gave Amatuni Virabyan a Letter of Thanks for his constant support for graduates.
This year, the Faculty of Philology had 141 BA and 30 MA graduates, with 13 of them receiving Diploma with Honours. The graduates were congratulated by the Dean of the Faculty Yuri Davtyan and Heads of Departments Aelita Dolukhanyan, Vazgen Hambardzumyan and Suren Danielyan.
Overall, 277 Bachelors and 34 Masters graduated from the Faculty of Primary Education, with 25 receiving Diploma with Honours.


The Faculty of Educational Psychology and Sociology had 295 BA and 71 MA graduates, with 32 of them receiving Diploma with Honours.


The graduates of the Faculty of Biology, Chemistry and Geography were congratulated by Jora Chobanyan, head of a laboratory at the Scientific-Technological Centre of Organic and Pharmaceutical Chemistry of the National Academy of Sciences, Hovhannes Sahradyan, Head of the Department of Foreign Affairs, Armenian National Agrarian University, Karlen Grigoryan, Head of the Department of Ecology and Nature Protection, Yerevan State University, Svetlana Hovakimyan, Dean of the Faculty of Biology, Chemistry and Geography, and Heads of Departments.This year, the Faculty had 197 BA and 61 MA graduates. Thirty of them received Diploma with Honours.


The Faculty of Foreign Languages had 215 BA and 94 MA graduates, with 27 receiving Diploma with Honours.


The Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics had 224 BA and 91 MA graduates: 41 received Diploma with Honours.


About 134 students attending full-time courses at the Faculty of Fine Arts and 65 students taking a distance learning course in the same Faculty also received graduate certificates with Bachelor’s degree. Another 72 graduates received certificates with Master’s degree, with 56 earning Certificates of Excellence.
The Faculty of Special Education had 188 BA and 84 MA graduates who studied in full-time and distance learning systems.
Also, 286 Bachelors and 64 Masters graduated from the Faculty of Culture, with 35 receiving Certificates of Excellence.


Congratulating the graduates Deans of Faculties, Heads of Departments and representatives of the teaching staff wished them professional growth and development, high sense of self-education and self-improvement, as well as responsibility to transfer their knowledge to next generations.
