KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

Tadevos Tonoyan, Candidate of Philological Science, Lecturer at the Department of Armenian Language and its Teaching Methodology, Armenian State Pedagogical University, has been awarded with the Medal of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia for his significant contribution to Armenian Literature. 

The medal was given by RA Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan during a jubilee event held at the Writers’ House on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Writers' Union of Armenia.

Tadevos Tonoyan is the editor-in-chief of “Aghbyur” (earlier “Pioneer”) children’s journal and author of many poetry collections. His works have been translated into many languages.

Tadevos Tonoyan has been awarded many times. In 2009, he was awarded with the Gold Medal of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Armenia.
