The Pedagogical-Psychological Issues at the RA AF are in the Center of Pedagogues’ Attention

12 April the Administrative Complex of the RA Ministry of Defence held a scientific conference about the pedagogical-psychological problems existing at the RA Armed Forces, the


 methodological systems and technologies of the solutions of these problems.

 

Within the framework of cooperation of the RA Ministry of Defence and Armenian State Pedagogical University after Kh.Abovyan, during the conference reports were made by the ASPU Dean of the Faculty of Psychology and Sociology of Education, Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Professor Srbouhi Gevorgyan, the Head of the Department of Development and Applied Psychology, Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Samvel Khoudoyan, the Head of the Department of Age and Pedagogical Psychology , Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Professor Vladimir Karapetyan, the Director of the Research Center, Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Associate Professor, Kamo Vardanyan, the Head of the Psychological Research Laboratory, Candidate Of Psychological Sciences, Associate Professor Vahan Sargsyan, and the Deputy Dean, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Hakob Tadevosyan.

 

They delivered report on the following subjects: “Development of Public Opinion about the Armed Forces and the Psychological Strategy of Conflict Management”, “Psychological Means of Preventing the Destructive Inclinations of Soldiers’ Increased Stress-Endurance” , “Means of Psychological Impact and its Teaching at the Armed Forces”, “Pedagogical –Psychological Problems of Modernization of Educational Programmes at Military Educational Establishments”.

 


Afterwards, the reports were followed by very interesting and constructive discussions. 

 

The conference was also marked with the participation of Deputies Commanders in charge of the moral state of the RA AF staff, and the educational activities arranged for them.

 

Upon the end of the conference the Deputy Chief of General Staff, Lieutenant-General Valeri Grigoryan summed up the conference and expressed his acknowledgments to the University staff for dynamic and mutually efficient cooperation, besides, he expressed a great will to arrange such meetings on regular bases.
