KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

“I would like to congratulate all of us with the upcoming new academic year wishing a prosperity and effective work full of achievements and significant success”, the ASPU Rector Rouben Mirzakhanyan mentioned today during the meeting with the teaching –professorial staff of the University.

Likewise, the Rector spoke about the main objectives aimed at raising the education quality and expressed his desire to receive suggestions from the corresponding lecturers involved. 

Moreover, Rouben Mirzakhanyan spoke about the new system of assessing the teaching process as well as the training system which should be established at the University soon and will give the opportunity to improve the lecturers’ capabilities in order to make the lecturer-student connection more regular.

“The Pedagogical University will continue its initiative of improving working conditions for lecturers and students. Lecturers must have the basic knowledge of first medical aid, chess and swimming,” mentioned the Rector gladly adding that the new academic year will stand out for its new electronic reading hall, restroom and food centres. 

At the end of the meeting the lecturers addressed their questions to the Rector.
