Today, the Pedagogical University, within the framework of the international conference “Theoretical and Practical Problems of Development of Transforming Societies”, welcomed
the Doctor of Psychology, Professor of Paris Diderot University, François Neau.
Specialist of the sphere such as the current undergraduates, postgraduates, and lecturers had the opportunity to participate in the public lecture by Mr. Neau.
The Diderot University Professor presented his lecture headed “Psychological Education and Specialization in France”.
Prior to the lecture, François Neau expressed his acknowledgement to the Pedagogical University for the invitation and also noticed that his last visit to Armenia had been in the year of the disastrous Earthquake when he had just started getting specialized in the sphere of psychology.
An today, in his lecture, Mr. Neau introduced the history and the development path of the specialization of psychology in France, professional peculiarities of psychological education in French universities, and the necessary conditions to become a skilled professional in the sphere.
The main core of the lecture was clinical psychology and psychological analysis.
Presenting his personal experience and observations, François Neau expressed anticipations for the time when there are no more contradictions between the theoretical and the practical aspects.
Upon the end of the lecture, the international expert in the sphere of psychology gladly answered all the questions that came up in the after-talk about the specialization.
