Today, the PhD, Academician, the Honorary Chancellor of the Athens University, the President of the International Academy of Philosophy, Yevangelos Moutsopoulos, who is in

Armenia on the invitation of the Armenian State Pedagogical University, delivered an exceptional lecture for the lecturers, postgraduate students and applicants of the Pedagogical.
The lecture had quite an interesting subject- “Education as a Lasting Value”.
Up to Yevangelos Moutsopoulos, our time’s education is much more concerned about obtaining value rather than revealing points of truth. And as a matter of fact, in that context making mistakes is observed as a distinctive value thus, varying from the mistakes in general.
The Greek Philosopher makes an intellectual excursus in the History of Philosophy and tries to bring to our days the Socrates’ traditions. He outlines the fact that in modern philosophy education much more significance is given to dialogues and that is exactly what Socrates once bore in his mind.
Upon the end, Moutsopoulos was glad to answer the questions that arose after the lecture.
