ASPU Primary School N57 after Vahan Totovents will hereinafter have its Debate Club: the new club is the branch of the Debate Club of the Faculty of Primary Education.
Liana Chobanyan, Head of the Debate Club of the Faculty of Primary Education, presented the attendees the aim and objectives of the newly-opened Debate Club, the importance of developing analytical thinking and culture of communication, as well as skills of conducting a civilized debate.
The participants of the newly-established Debate Club, 7th form pupils, participated in the presentation training held by the rules of a game debate.
With the help of the tournament winners - experienced members of the Debate Club of the Faculty of Primary Education - the schoolchildren tried [for the first time] to debate over the most interesting theme for them - Is Social Media a Waste of Time?
Although there were no winners during the first experimental game, some players stood out with their sharp logic and quick orientation.
The participants of the Debate Club of the Faculty of Primary Education expressed their readiness and willingness to participate and support the school club activities.
