KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

A few days ago, the Professor of the State Free University of Berlin, Doctor Zhirayr Kocharyan delivered a lecture at the Pedagogical University by the invitation of the Faculty of Art Education Department of History, Theory of Art and Culturology.

During the lecture the professor spoke about the activities of the Armenian community in Germany, the Armenian-Turkish relations and problematic issues referring to the Armenian Genocide.

On this occasion active discussions developed and Mr. Zhirayr Kocharyan was glad to reply to the questions of students and lecturers.

Among those present at the meeting were the MA students of the Faculty of Fine Arts History and Theory and a number of lecturers of the Department.

The professor of the State Free University of Berlin expressed his acknowledgements for the warm welcome considering it a great honour to have the chance of delivering lectures at the Pedagogical University.
