Cooperation Agreement between the ASPU and the GREF

Today, the Pedagogical University hosted the Head of GREF Armenia mission Alan Hornez and Jenan Buayen. The aim of the visit was to re-sign the cooperation agreement between the organizations. 

 

As a result of a three year agreement the GREF members, lecturers are participating in the process of teaching French by students studying French as a Profession and as a Foreign Language at the ASPU for a 4-6-week term twice a year, contributing to deepening the knowledge of French language, culture and the French studies.

 

 

 

 

The guests were welcomed by the ASPU Vice-Rector Mr. Ara Yeremyan, who expressed his content about the project mission and cooperation. The latter also noticed that re-signing already proves for an established cooperation and effectiveness. 

 

“Thanks to the project the students are developing their skills of oral and non-oral activities, communication skills, identify and perceive the nuances and details of French language.”

 

The responsible of GREF mission in Armenia Alen Horenz conditioned the success of the project by the activities conducted by the cooperating institution. The latter highlighted that by studying the history of the country and by visiting Armenia for six continuous years he noticed that Armenians indeed differed with their mental abilities.

 

“I hope that the Pedagogical students will stand the temptation and will apply their profound linguistic knowledge and pedagogical skills especially in their country trying to find their unique role in the Armenian labour market”.

 

Likewise, the responsible of GREF mission in Armenia also suggested that the meetings related to re-signing of the agreement held every three years should become annual, thus, introducing the possibility to approve new suggestions.

 

Among those present at the meeting were the ASPU Head of International Cooperation Department Ms. Christina Tsatouryan and the Head of Department of Romanic Languages Ms. Donara Ghazaryan.

 

The latter confirmed that the visit of French specialists passed a new breath to the learning process and the seminars they conducted made the lecturers and students aware of French language and linguistic novelties.
