
On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the ASPU Student Council, the University hosted Bishop Markos Hovhannisyan, Primate of the Gegharkunik Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church, Armen Amiryan, Executive Director of the Public Radio of Armenia, Karen Aghamyan, Chairman of the Artists' Union of Armenia, and Hovik Musayelyan, Executive Director of Synopsys Armenia CJSC.

The meeting with the teaching staff and students of the University started with the Lord’s prayer. Then, the guests, who have had a significant contribution to the development of Armenia, spoke about the role and importance of students.
During the meeting, Hovik Musayelyan, Executive Director of Synopsys Armenia, assured everyone that in the near future Synopsys Armenia and the ASPU will start cooperation which will be important for both University students and their Company.
Students also asked the guests a wide range of issues about sects, the importance of radio and its modernity, development of information technologies.

At the end of the meeting, ASPU Vice-Rector Srbuhi Gevorgyan handed “Pedagogical University” medals to the guests and encouraged the students to follow their examples and path, hear and understand their words and appreciate their activities.
