KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

The Pedagogical University students, the future musicians-pedagogues participated in celebration of the 2796th anniversary of the Capital city.

The third year ASPU students of the Faculty of Art Education, Department of Musical Education Lilit Avagyan, Vard Karapetyan, Greta Abrahamyan, Gayane Hovhannisyan, Gohar Mkrtchyan, Laura Soghoyan, Anahit Bareyan and Lilit Papyan organized a joint concert together with the pupils of the Secondary School N57 after Vahan Totovents within the scope of their internship.

On the initiative of pupils the guests got acquainted with the history of Yerevan, after which the “Golden String” guitar band, the “Govata” trio together with Rouben Abrahamyan and Makich Nalzoukhanyan, and the “Arar” junior choir, in their turn, performed on the concert.

What is more, paintings by the pupils of the Secondary School N57 after Vahan Totovents and the “Arar” members were also displayed during the concert.

The internship supervisor, Candidates of Pedagogical Sciences Anahit Gevorgyan mentioned in her interview to the old.aspu.am that the concert contributed to pupils’ mental, patriotic, moral, aesthetic and working education, as well as gave an opportunity to the students to apply their pedagogical knowledge in practice and to acquire organizational skills.
