KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

From 21-22 November, an international conference was held at the Gevorgyan Theological Seminary Hall of the Mother See of Holy Ejmiadzin headed “Church and Education; title, education and mission”.

Among those participating in the conference dedicated to the 140th anniversary of establishment of the seminary were scientists from Armenia, Israel, Russian Federation, Poland, Syria, and Germany.

Besides, the teaching-professorial team of the Armenian State Pedagogical University was also participating in the conference; in fact, the majority of the participants- 17 lecturers, were the representatives of our University. 

During the conference they presented reports about the Armenian nation, history of the Armenian Church, Armenian communities, linguistics, and pedagogy.

During the summary of the conference results, the representatives from the Gevorgyan Theological Seminary, the Supervisor of the spiritual and educational institutions of the Mother See Holly Ejmiadzin Bishop Gevorg Saroyan highly praised the participation of Armenianuniversities in the conference noticing that the presented topics were quite interesting and a novelty  that would improve the coverage of the history of the seminary, upraising of the fields of pedagogy, linguistics and other fields.
