On the International Children’s Day the students of the Faculty of Biology, Chemistry and Geography visited the Yerevan special school N8 for children with heavy speech disorders.
On this occasion, besides giving presents the students undertook the initiative of making children’s learning environment more attractive and beautiful;the walls of classrooms were dyed and decorated with pictures of Mesrom Mashtots, the native landscape and fairytale heroes.
For many students it was the first occasion of communicating with children with special needs, nevertheless, that did not prevent the future pedagogues from understanding the mission and importance of their profession.
The students had common opinion that children's wellbeing was the basis of the nation's welfare, and the understanding of that makes them more humane and patriotic.
«Today, you became young philanthropists, and I would like to wish that from now on your juvenile flexible mind serves for good deeds only», the Director of the educational center Ms. Vardouhi Kheboyan mentioned and granted special acknowledgement notes to the students of the Faculty of Biology, Chemistry and Geography and to the leader of the 1 year course Ms.Vardouhi Hovhannisyan.
During the visit the students also got acquainted with the school conditions, the new culinary classroom, in particular, where pupils get familiarised with the art of culinary and healthy lifestyle.
