Mostly Important for the Postgraduates
17.04.2012
17 April the two-day international conference “Theoretical and Practical Problems of Development of a Transforming Society /philosophical and psychological perspectives/”

continued at the Pedagogical University. The conference operated in five parallel sections. And today, the participants in the section 2 resumed presenting reports on the topic of problems of transformational logic.

The Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, the Head of the ASPU Department of Biology and its Teaching Methods, Tigran Tangamyan, in joint cooperation with the Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, lecturer of the ASPU Department of Preschool Pedagogy Hasmik Sargsyan and the lecturer of the Artsakh State University Nelly Davtyan, presented the report on the subject “The Role Biology on the Process of Development of Pupils’ Thinking and Formation of Scientific Outlook”.

The report made an emphasis on the vital role of natural sciences for a person’s and public development, for human-nature correlations, the discovery of natural phenomena and regularities, the scientific and accurate understanding, assessment and practical usage of their reason-cause connection, the formation of scientific viewpoint.

“In public schools the subject-centered model of education mainly dominates; this or that concept is easier to comprehend and remember in a system rather than separately. One of the most important methods of the complete perception of nature is the coordinated character of the reason-cause connection discovery and its philosophical comments,” Tangamyan stated. And based on that very principle, he commented on the role of biology on the process of development of pupils’ thinking and formation of scientific outlook.

After that, the MA student of the ASPU Physical-Technological Faculty, Hovhannes Sarukhanyan made a report headed “Beauty in Mathematical Thinking and Transformational Logic Paradigm”. The report brought up the point that in order to effectively apply the description of beauty in respect with mathematical thinking and mathematical knowledge, the examination of such approaches should be made, governed by the transactional logic paradigm, revealing the preconditions used in unrevealed ways, and then making the corresponding adjustment of provisions and concepts based on those studies.

Soon after that, the MA student of the same Faculty, Gohar Shahabazyan made a report on the subject “Transactional Analysis of the Role of Paradoxes in the History of Physics”. During the report she mentions that before the overcoming paradoxes, there was an idea that the singular theoretic description was impossible as it was a union of contradictions and a result of struggle.

The reporter also touched upon the point that Gevrog Brutyan’s transactional logic paradigm is a guideline for the solution of the Zenon paradoxes and for the consistent theoretic description of the concept of mechanical motion.

And at the end, the MA student Mariam Gevorgyan delivered the summarizing report on the subject of “Problem of Motion in the Micro-world: Transactional Analysis”.

“Transactional analysis can stimulate the adjustment of the context of categories of space, time and motion and their absolute use,” the reporter underlined. She also mentioned that the need of that kind of research was especially obvious in the sphere of investigations of phenomena of the micro-world as there the basic categories as the inner space structure of the system and the motion orbit of elementary units in the objects of the micro-world, were inapplicable.

Today’s section gave a wider opportunity for the MA students to demonstrate their reports, and as a result of the vigorous discussions they found and listened to the new ideas and viewpoints which will develop and become a subject of new works in future.

Likewise, in the third section the delivery and discussions of reports continued. These reports referred to the Issues of Metaphilosophy and Theory of Argumentation. New approaches on that perspective were presented by the Doctor of Philological Sciences, Lilit Brutyan (the Head of the YSU Department of Typology of Russian Linguistics and Theory of Communication), the Doctor of Political Sciences Arthur Atanesyan (the Head of the YSU Department of Sociology), the Candidate of Philosophical Sciences Arsen Meliqyan (ASAU), and the freshman of the ASPU Faculty of Psychology and Sociology of Education Lucine Tanajyan.

The report discussed the following topics: “Preconditions, Consequences and Related Concepts”, “Knowledge on Modern Social Reality as a Metaphilosophic Source of Evaluation of Philosophic Meaning”, “Philosophic and Philological Prerequisites in the Formation and Development Functions of Translational Skills and Theory”, “What are Fables Saying /on the samples of Av.Isahakyan’s works/”.

The reports were accompanied by business debate-discussions, and the participants were given an opportunity to ask their questions to the reporters.

As a result of the discussions, the working team tried to find solutions for a number of still unsolved scientific problems by putting them on a more updated and accurate grounds.

The Doctor of Physical-Mathematical Sciences, the Dean of the Physical-Technological Faculty Gagik Demirkhanyan summarized the international conference with the following,
“This brilliant occasion was most vital for the MA students, moreover, this was the best chance given to them, I might say. We had very motivating and attention-grabbing discussion in quite a positive environment. Nevertheless, I think the reporting students have to spend more time on their works and to present in a more plainly way the problems existing in their reports.”

In addition, Tigran Tangamyan put in that as a result of the discussion in that section a problem occurred which urged to think and to reason about and to form a viewpoint on.
