KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

AS Political Awards Handover Ceremony 2014 organized by Yerevan-based “Analitik” Centre was held earlier this month.

The best political and public figures of 2014 chosen in the result of public voting became known during the event. 

Levon Shirinyan, Head of the Department of Political Sciences and History of Law, Armenian State Pedagogical University (ASPU), was named winner in the category “Most Popular Political Analyst in 2014.”

Talking to old.aspu.am, the political analyst said he had been unaware of the ceremony and was greatly surprised to be named winner in the given category. “I am always guided by the principle of political realism. I have a clear method of monitoring and never accept additional coloring. This awards ceremony was the best way to study and show public opinion which comes to prove again that people have their point of view.”
