An amateur choir of Armenian State Pedagogical University featuring students of the Faculty of Primary Education today visited ASPU Primary School N57 after Vahan Totovents to congratulate elementary school pupils on upcoming holidays. The choir was comprised of students from several divisions, including Pedagogy and Methodology (Preschool Education), Pedagogy and Psychology (Preschool), Pedagogy and Methodology (Elementary Education, teaching in Russian Language).
The choir performed popular and well-known children’s songs. At the end of the event, the students gave the children presents made by them, which was a great surprise for the schoolchildren ahead of New Year holidays.
The event was also attended by Heghine Khachatryan, Dean of the Faculty of Primary Education, Ashot Galstyan, Acting Head of the Department of Mother Tongue and its Teaching Methods after Ashot Ter-Grigoryan, and Svetlana Marutyuan, Head of the Department of Preschool Pedagogy and Methodology.
Vachagan Navsardyan, the conductor of the amateur choir and Associate Professor at the Department of Preschool Pedagogy and Methodology, congratulated the pupils on New Year and promised to make meetings more frequent in the future.
