Schoolchildren celebrate Christmas and New Year
24.12.2014

ASPU Primary School N57 today hosted fairy tale heroes, forest dwellers, Santa Claus and Snow Maiden who came to congratulate children of Kindergarten N5 on Christmas and New Year.

The guests turned the day into a great occasion and a real miracle for the children of the pre-school educational establishment. Fourth-form pupils of the primary school at the head of form master Anna Grigoryan joined the guests with their songs and dances and beautiful wishes.

The heroes of the fairy tales, Cinderella and the Red Hat, Shrovetide and Ustian, clown, as well as the fox, wolf and hare called on future pupils to be united, kind and friendly and congratulated them on Christmas and New Year with a ‘surprise visit’ of Santa Claus.

“It is always sunny in our school because each of our pupils shines like the sun, spreading warmth and the light of their knowledge everywhere,” said Naira Toghanyan, Principal of Primary School N57. She joined the congratulations, wishing the children calm and cloudless sky, good health and success.

Speaking about the initiative to host kindergarten children at school, Naira Toghanyan stressed the importance of such visits from several perspectives. She stressed that the visits will help children in the choice of school, besides, they enable teachers and pupils to familiarize children with the daily life of school.

Wishes were also said by Heghine Khachatryan, Dean of the Faculty of Primary Education, and Heads of Departments Ashot Galstyan and Svetlana Marutyan.

In her speech, Heghine Khachatryan said the event was a small fragment of purity, beauty and childish sincerity that took the audience to the world of fairy tales.

Anna Grigoryan was also happy that the children had been able to take everyone, irrespective of their age, to a wonderland and urge everyone that they should be kind and spread light everywhere.

Ani Nikoghosyan, a first-year graduate student of the Faculty of Primary Education also participated in the organization of the event. She serves as a mentor teacher for that classroom.

While working with the children, Ani became convinced that she was not mistaken in the choice of her profession: teaching as a profession has always been and will remain a noble and bright mission.
