The Pedagogical University’s Faculty of Foreign Languages did not stay aside from the New Year festive celebrations at the University.
Before the holidays, the Germanic Department and the students from 1st to 3rd year once again tried to review and give a new meaning of humane relationships and to speak about its importance by staging Christopher Morley’s “Thursday Evening” play.

During the performance a quarrel between the married couple at a round table and issues that rose because of not conceding to each other touched the audience and gave them a chance to deepen in thoughts.
“Any quarrel may be overcome by conceding and talking to each other,” the Head of the Department of Germanic Languages Ms. Elena Mkhitaryan mentioned observing that this is the first experience of an English language performance undertaken by the mentioned Department which will help the students also to overcome the language barrier.
The holiday event was concluded by a performance of the world famous New Year songs followed by a video congratulation by the students of the Faculty of Foreign Languages on the upcoming New Year and Christmas.
