Today, the Lecturer of the Faculty of Culture, Department of TV Journalism Mr. StepanMaroutyan granted 30 books to the reading-hall of the Department of TV-Radio Journalism.

“Journalism Abroad” and “Artistic Photography and Journalism” are copyright manuals with which students can get acquainted with the history of journalism starting from its establishment till our days, as well as social and artistic photography issues.

“Several years ago, there was no professional literature published in Armenian,”Mr. Stepan Maroutyan remembers and simultaneously mentions that he gifted the books to ease the students’ burden of buying books.

“International media is  frequently changing; however, the books present the key information that the students must know”,  the Head of the TV-Radio Journalism Mr.Levon Galstyan noted appraising the availability of professional manuals at universities, particularly the above-mentioned books; modern journalists must know this context.

In his turn, the Dean of the Faculty of Culture, Mr. GevorgTadevosyan also welcomed Mr. StepanMaroutyan’s initiative, and informed that donation of books to the Faculty had already become traditional, urging all others to follow this example, thus, creating opportunities for the development of reading skills and professional capacities of students.
