KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

“Haykyan 2014” award-giving ceremony was held at the Yerevan State Chamber Theatre on March 4.  Nersik Margaryan, Chairman of the Student Council of Armenian State Pedagogical University, was named winner in the nomination “Best Chairman of Student Self-Governing Body.”

This prize category in the annual award-giving ceremony organized by the Youth Foundation of Armenia had been forgotten for a long time. The tradition was resumed this year.  

Talking to old.aspu.am, the chairman of the ASPU Student Council confessed that ‘the award was unexpected, but desirable.’  Nersik Margaryan is convinced that each member of the SC and each active person dreams to receive a “Haykyan” award and adds that a firm guarantee of the award is one’s activity in the youth sector and his extensive work experience.

Nersik Margaryan says the prize is both binding and inspiring and promises to do everything possible to ensure that the Student Council he heads is recognized the best Student Council of the year.
