KHACHATUR ABOVYAN ARMENIAN STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

The choir of the Faculty of Primary Education (at the head of Artistic Director Vachagan Navasardyan, Associate Professor at the Department of Preschool Education and Methodology) recently visited the city of Ijevan in Tavush marz (province) to congratulate women on the first spring holiday - International Women’s Day. The visit was arranged at the invitation of Ijevan Mayor.

First-year students of the Faculty of Primary Education delighted the audience with their beautiful performances, presenting the works of Armenian composers.

In his address, Vachagan Navasardyan said the choir, which had been replenished with first-year students, was, in fact, an amateur choir, and the students achieved the demonstrated results in a very short period of time after a few rehearsals: the concert was a specific test for them.

At the end of the event, representatives of the Faculty of Primary Education invited officials of the education sector of Tavush marz to Armenian State Pedagogical University in order to get acquainted with the educational environment and cement cooperation. 

The event was attended by Tavush Marzpet (Regional Governor) Hovik Abovyan, Ijevan Mayor Vardan Ghalumyan and women professionals from various fields.
