On 24 April, the students and the teaching-professorial team of the Pedagogical University marched up to the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial to pay tribute to the innocent victims of the
Genocide; approximately 4000 students were holding various posters with the following notes “NO to Turkish Refusal”, “April is also a month of rebirth”, “The International Public Determination is Moral”, etc.
Every year, this day the world-spread Armenians mourn the memory of 1.5 million Armenians who were killed in the Ottoman Turkey from 1915-23.
The Armenian State Pedagogical University staff, together with the future pedagogues, kept a minute of silence near the Eternal Flame to honour the memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide in 1915.
