Within the scope of the International Children’s Protection Day an event was organized at the ASPU School N57 after Vahan Totovents on the initiative of the Pedagogical University’s Faculty of Special Education.
Painting therapy, clay therapy, mask therapy, origami, collage; the already traditional activities organized by the ASPU lecturers and postgraduate students of art-therapy specialisation, but for the first time being held at the school, raised great interest among the participating pupils.
In her turn, the Head of the Department of Logopaedics and Rehabilitation Therapy Janna Paylozyan emphasized the organization of such an event and outlined that this was one more opportunity to hear the voice of children, to draw the attention on their significant role and importance in the society.
As a matter of fact, the event organized within the scope of the International Day for Children’s Protection held at the ASPU School N57 after Vahan Totovents coincided with another important event for children.
Starting from today, the programme “Summer School” will be open at the school for the first time; the duration of the summer school will be until August. The programme is ready, within the framework of which age division will be done for children from the age of 5-12.
“Technology and entrepreneurship, robotics, watching and discussing cartoons, development of oral speech; despite the training component, the school will mainly be of cognitive and entertaining nature. Children studying here , as well as all those interested, may be sure that the cheerful and rich summer leisure time is guaranteed for them at our school”, added the Director of the school Naira Toghanyan.
