The third annual youth republican open festival “Art Fest” was headed “Under a Common Roof” this year.
This year the Pedagogical University also participated in the “Art Fest”; the final year students of the Faculty of Culture, Department of TV Direction presented the performance “Dante-esque 15” based on Hovannes Shiraz’ poem “The Armenian Dante-esque”; the stage director was professor Aida Hovhannisyan.
The future directors participated in the youth republican festival as professional actors once again paying a tribute to the memory of the first Genocide of the 20th century.
From 11 May to 11 June, within the scope of the “Art Fest”, cultural centers of the capital city and regions, as well as individual creative young people performed in theatrical art, cinema, singing, design and decorative applied art, fine arts including painting, photography, graphics and sculpture.
We would like to mention that the “Art Fest” aims at developing youth creative environment, expanding scope of professional cooperation, improving young artists’ professional skills through exchange of experience, discovering new names and creative achievements of the year.
To conclude, the results of the third youth republican open festival “Art Fest” will be summarized on 11 June.
