On 2 August, the “Summer School” programme was launched, organized within the scope of cooperation between the Lithuanian University of Educational Sciences and the Armenian State Pedagogical University after Khachatur Abovyan.
Around ten students from the ASPU and the employee of International Cooperation Gohar Araqelyan left for Lithuania, Vilnius to participate in a two-week “Summer School” programme.
To begin with, introductory matinee was arranged; the process of the programme, the staff of the Lithuanian University of Educational Sciences and the aim of the programme- to learn Lithuanian language, were all introduced and explained to the participants.

In addition the participants made a tour around the sites of Vilnius and got familiar with the cultural values of Lithuania.
We would like to mention that representatives from more than 19 countries participate in the “Summer School” programme; this will give a large scope of opportunities to students to get acquainted not only with the Lithuanian culture, but also other countries’ cultural and national values, as well as make new friends and connections.
