The Summer School program implemented within the framework of cooperation between Armenian State Pedagogical University after Khachatur Abovyan and Lithuanian University of Educational Sciences continues.
Within the framework of the program, ASPU students had a chance to travel to Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania, as well as to Kernave and Trakai. They also visited Trakai Island Castle, a 14th-century castle located on an island in Lake Galve. The castle was considered the seat of the Lithuanian princes.

The visit to Lithuania also helps ASPU students improve their language skills and deepen their knowledge about the country (Lithuania) and its history.
At the end of the lesson, the students made a presentation [in the Lithuanian language] about Armenia and then each of them spoke about his own preferences.

The participants expressed their deepest and sincere gratitude to Tatyana who accompanied them during their stay in Lithuania and worked with them throughout those days. They also expressed desire to open a centre for research into the Lithuanian language at the ASPU and invite specialists from Lithuanian University of Educational Sciences to give lectures at the university.
