
The Italian city of Chieti recently hosted the International Festival Chorus Inside Summer 2015 which brought together 44 singers and 12 choirs. Lilit Hambardzumyan, a student of the Faculty of Art Education, Armenian State Pedagogical University, was among the participants.
Lilit came first in the genres “Author’s Song” and “Academic Vocal” and was awarded a gold medal and a cup.
She performed a song written by Hovhan Voskeberan and composed by Artur Hakobyan.

While in Italy, Lilit had a unique opportunity to sing in many holy places and sanctuaries, including the Pantheon in Rome. Foreigners also admired Lilit’s performance of Aria Vocalise [by Arno Babajanyan], Hayastan (Armenia) and Et Ari (Come Back).
The ASPU student also had success at the 2nd International Competition Caucasian Championship which brought together singers, dancers and ensembles from different countries. Lilit won Gold Medal in the Academic Vocal genre and Grand Prix in the Folk Music genre.
During the competition, Lilit Hambardzumyan also received invitations from Bulgaria and Italy.
