11 May, under the initiative of the Department of Psychology at the RA State Academy of Management, a PSY-Expo exhibition was organized headed as“ Psychology and New
Economic Relations „.
The exhibition aimed to introduce the public with the achievement in the Psychological Sciences, technologies in practical psychology work, influences, which will significantly contribute to the person’s adaptation and self-realization in the conditions modern economic relations.
The main directions of the PSY-Expo activities were the psychologist and the labour market, psychologist and information field, PR and advertisement, psychological problems in the sphere of education, professional orientation, self-representation of the psychologist, and management in different areas.
The PSY-Expo headed as “Psychology and New Economic Relations” was also marked with the participation of the Faculty of Education Psychology and Sociology and the Psychological Research Laboratory of the Armenian State Pedagogic University after Khachatur Abovyan with their rich and very unique pavilion.
The Dean of the Faculty, Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Professor Srbuhi Gevorgyan greeted the participants and said, “The idea of the exhibition itself, its realization and representativeness is already a great acquisition for the Psychology Science and Psychologists. Such events help the public to introduce the latest achievements of the Science of Psychology, outline the main directions for development, possibilities and what is particularly important, give new opportunities to the psychological societies to find common grounds for cooperation, to work out and implement joint programmes”, Srbuhi Gevorgyan added.
It should also be mentioned, that PSY-Expo was the first attempt of organizing this kind of event in the country.
