Mutually Beneficial Collaboration Between the Career Centre and Students

Today, the Career Centre at the Department of Strategic Management of the Pedagogical University summarized the first results of the three-months students’ trainings headed as


 “Learners Career Assistance”. 
The twenty-two participants of the training received certificates on successful completion of the course.
 
The University’s Chancellor of Science and Postgraduate Education, Candidate of Legal Sciences, Associate Professor Ara Yeremyan greeted the participants of the training and expressed his assurance that the acquired knowledge, skills and abilities will be further practiced in the University activities.  
 
The Head of the Strategic Department Ritta Gevorgyan is pleased with the results; “We aim to give you not only theoretical knowledge but also practical skills which will increase your competitiveness in the market, and further promote the team-work and career formation. 
You have become more dynamic, creative and initiative; and the events with your participation stand as a proof.”
 
Narei Gevorgyan studies at the Department of Museology of the Faculty of Culture; she outlines the major importance of her participation in the training. 
“Increased Self-esteem, preparation for interview with the employers, correct posture, and image formation- these are only a part of what I learned here”, Narei says and puts in that she is quite willing to pass on her fellow course-mates what she learned at the trainings.    
 
Moreover, Psychologist Mariam Mehrabyan, who conducted the training on specific subjects, analyzed the self-images of the training participants of the first day. 
The second stage of the training will be held in September; at this time the number of the participants will exceed 100. 
 
Let us remind, that the Career Centre aims to give consultative, professional advice and orientation to the applicants, students and graduates of the University, to assist them in forming and developing necessary skills required in our-days’ labour market.
