The reading hall of Natural Sciences of Armenian State Pedagogical University (ASPU) hosted the closing conference of third-year students of the Faculty of Education Psychology

and Sociology (specialization in pedagogy and psychology).
The conference summarized the results of internship practices and discussed the opportunities and procedures for organizing practical training within the framework of the cooperation program “Education for All” signed between the ASPU and “Bridge of Hope” NGO, on the basis of the guideline “Improvement of Students’ Practice.”
Under the program, students undergo practical training at inclusive schools of the Armenian capital.
During the conference, the third-year students presented the arrangement of practice at inclusive schools N150, 127 and 129.
Representative of the “Bridge of Hope” NGO Arpine Zargaryan, Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Deputy Dean Lida Aramyan, Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Head of the Psychological Research Laboratory, Associate Professor, Vahan Sargsyan, were present at the conference.

Summing up the results of the practice, Lida Aramyan stressed that the students’ ‘folder’ is used not only at inclusive, but also at other schools. Vahan Sargsyan presented the students’ competence assessment form which, he said, is based on the competency-based assessment envisaged by the educational program “Pedagogy and Psychology” and is supposed to provide qualitative evaluation of students during the practical training.
Head of Division of Coordination of Academic and Scientific Methodological Activities, Vice-Rector Mher Melik-Bakhshyan highlighted the importance of similar events and hailed the work of students and their supervisors – Srbuhi Gevorgyan, Vahan Sargsyan and Lida Aramyan.
The Vice-Rector thanked the “Bridge of Hope” NGO for effective and fruitful cooperation.
