Nasser Kazeminy, President of the National Ethnic Coalition of Organizations (NECO), who is in Armenia at the invitation of President Serzh Sarsgyan, has held meetings with the

Armenian President and His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians. In the RA government, the delegation headed by NECO President Nasser Kazeminy was received by Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan.
On September 23, 2011, during his visit to Ellis Island in New York Harbour, President Serzh Sargsyan received the Ellis Island Medal of Honour by NECO President Nasser Kazeminy. Serzh Sargsyan was awarded for his contribution to the development of Armenian-American relations, establishment of peace in the South Caucasus, as well as effective integration of immigrants in Armenia.
While on the island, Serzh Sargsyan visited the Immigration Museum and attended an exhibition dedicated to the survivors of the 1915 Armenian Genocide who immigrated to the United States.
During the visit, the Armenian leader invited Nasser Kazeminy and his spouse to Armenia. Note that Nasser Kazeminy is not only the President of National Ethnic Coalition of Organizations (NECO), but also the owner of some twenty companies.
On Wednesday, May 30, 2012, Armenian State Pedagogical University (ASPU) will host Nasser Kazeminy who will be granted an honorary doctorate degree. After the event, the NECO President will give a press conference.
Note that during the meeting with the Armenian Premier and Chairman of the ASPU Governing Council Tigran Sargsyan, Nasser Kazeminy also referred to the perspectives of cooperation with Armenian State Pedagogical University. The NECO President highly appreciated the fact that the Armenian Premier keeps the educational system in the spotlight.
